Mr. Zhao has been working in Japan for a long time, and he and his family decided to settle down in Shizuoka, a city surrounded by mountains and water and full of childhood joys. He succeeded in convincing his parents to sell their property in Hangzhou and spend their twilight years in Japan. Mr. Zhao contacted us on the recommendation of his friend Mr. Wang, who had also settled in Japan.

Given that his elders had a hard time letting go of their old familiar furniture in China, Mr. Zhao decided to relocate his traditional furniture such as cupboards, sofas and solid wood coffee tables from his old home and planned to buy some new furniture to take with him.

Hipu consultant recommended LCL shipping service to Mr. Zhao, considering the cost and timeliness. After both parties agreed on the price and service, Hippo provided a door-to-door one-stop cross-border moving service. When the appointed time came, Hippo staff came to the door to pack and pick up the items.

Hippo adopted an appropriate packing method for the characteristics and shape of the furniture in Mr. Zhao's home. The items were carefully wrapped in pearl cotton, followed by additional protective packaging using properly cut cardboard to avoid any bumps and damages during transportation.

Once the packing was completed, Mr. Zhao's furniture was first transported to Hippo's own warehouse for free storage.

When Mr. Zhao's new furniture arrives at the Hippo warehouse, the warehouse staff will sign for it and inspect it on his behalf, checking the number of items, specifications and packaging condition to ensure that it matches exactly with the list provided by Mr. Zhao.

Warehouse staff meticulously inspect the original packaging of the new furniture, and any packaging found to be broken, unstable or not in line with shipping standards will be replaced according to the customer's specific needs. Eventually, the new and old furniture will be packed together and ready for shipment.

After 15 days of transportation, the items finally arrived at the Japanese port. Hippo arranged professional staff to dispatch the items directly to Mr. Zhao's home and assisted him in unpacking and assembling the furniture and cleaning up all the residual garbage. In this way, Mr. Zhao was happily reunited with his beloved objects!
